Matariki Coding

For Reading we have been doing lots of learning about Matariki. The students have been using code to navigate through the seven stars of Matariki. Here are some photos of them coding with the blue bot.

Team Awa Online Learning Week 2

Well Team Awa have has had another great week of online learning. It is great to see nearly everyone's happy faces in our google hangouts. We have seen lots of great work happening. Team Awa Online Learning

Crazy Critters Cooking Convention

For reading we read a big book called The Crazy Critters Cooking Convention. This book had lots of great examples of alliteration. We have created digital books using alliteration. Each student chose a letter of the alphabet to write a sentence using alliteration. We used the same theme of critters or animals too. Here are the digital books we created.
