On Friday we had our first session of Garden to Table for 2018. The children were put into their groups and had an orientation of both the kitchen and the garden.
Such a neat thing for all the children to experience. How to grow food and then make wonderful meals from the produce in the garden. The children are very lucky to have this at school. Keep up the good work!
Hi Tracey Yes we are very lucky to have garden to table at our school .We made apple muffins with cinnamon. We also had stir fry noodles. It was delicious.
What a wonderful activity to have at school. It is such a big life lesson/s as you learn to grow edible plants and then turn them into meals to share. The kids look so involves and enthusiastic. A great project. Sam and Stella's Grandma
Kyle, this is right up your ally after all the planting and growing you have done at home in your own garden. I hope you enjoy garden to table!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the support and encouragement Rebecca.
