We have been learning about Picasso’s style and made our own funky Picasso portraits.
We didn't have to be fussy where we put our facial features this time as that was part of the fun.

Our wonderful art!
Self Portraits
We have been working on using different art techniques to draw our faces. We have used sketching pencils to sketch our faces, making sure we made our facial features an accurate shape, size and putting them in the correct places. We also typed our names on a Google Doc to create our background.

Parent Information

Garden to Table 2018
On Friday we had our first session of Garden to Table for 2018. The children were put into their groups and had an orientation of both the kitchen and the garden.
Chromebook Rollout
On Tuesday we had a special assembly where the whole school attended and watched as the Year 4 students were given their chromebook box. The school counted down and then there were shouts and screams as the students opened their Chromebooks. The look on the students eyes was excitement, fun and enjoyment.
Welcome to Team Awa
Today we wanted to show Team Awa and the teachers who will be working in this classroom.
We have two teachers Mrs Clarke and Mrs Ritchie, and a teacher aide called Bev.
This year will be packed with learning new things, working together, building resilience and always using out school values both at school and at home.
